How will dinner and a show compare between the Signature sisters? As you can see here, using solely the renderings given at the time of building for both – Manhattan Dining Room will be more red and purple tones, airy and bright with lighting fixtures suspended in the middle of the dining room. Eurodam uses slightly darker tones and has a ceiling effect that makes it look as though parts of the ceiling have melted and formed chandeliers. (Note: These renderings were PERFECT for a side by side comparison as you can tell they used the same rendering but changed the decor as appropriate for the ship’s design)
The Showroom at Sea vs. Mainstage is a bit more of a difference. Whereas they both have the individual, theater-style seats as opposed to the “cabaret seating” more common throughout the fleet, Nieuw Amsterdam brings back a taste of classic showlounge/theater from New York’s deco past whereas Mainstage is more colorful and whimsical. Another major change is the shape and design of the corner boxes or “ashtrays” as some of us refer to them as. On Eurodam the design and shape was a direct replica of the Vista Class ships whereas Nieuw Amsterdam keeps the structure but puts a totally new twist on it.
