Over the next several days I will post some of my favorite pictures from my Alaskan adventure! I hope you’ll enjoy the various pictures of the ports that I have taken. No shore excursions this time around as I’ve been to Alaska a few times. But I did make sure to get my share of fish and chips and smoked salmon while gone, and managed to bring some back from my favorite shop in Juneau!
And I noticed that 30,000 was broken while I was gone… as always, and not just on the landmark numbers, THANK YOU for coming to my little corner of the web!
The posts will begin once the domestic recovery (laundry, go through mail, etc) are all taken care of.
Cheers,
DBA

Welcome back! Can you share the name of the fish and chip place? We’re off to Juneau on Veendam in September.
Cheers!

The fish and chips place was actually right next door to the Lumberjack Show in Ketchikan. I didn’t catch the name, but when looking at the lumberjack show with the water behind it, this building is immediately to the right. They have a very small order area with a big menu board, and a room in the back with some tables (and lots of shelves of boots, jackets and other fishing equipment in there). The halibut and chips is locally caught and by far the best I’ve ever had! Hope you have a chance to check it out!
Thanks! We’ll be sure to try it, and as we are going b2b, there might be two chances. [Burp!]
